M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver (Counterbalance) to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful probation period.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (08:30 - 17:00)

Pay rate: £13.25 Per Hour Temp to Perm (following successful probation)

The Role

As an FLT Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and storing stock safely and accurately while supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Moving goods to and from storage areas, racking, and production lines
  • Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes
  • Conducting stock checks and supporting inventory control
  • Ensuring all shipments and inventory transactions are accurate
  • Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any defects
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Supporting general warehouse duties as required

About You

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (in-date and accredited)
  • Previous experience operating FLT in a warehouse environment
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
