M4 Recruitment are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Assistant to support a busy food processing site in the Reading area.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with the Factory Production Team to ensure that orders are accurately inputted onto the business order management system.
- Support the Driving Team to ensure customer orders are accurate and loaded correctly utilising route management tools.
- Monitor email orders.
- Transfer invoices from business order software to ensure invoices are accurate using SAGE.
- Accurate payment and recording of purchase orders.
- Transfer invoices from the business ordering system to the accounting software.
- Where appropriate, conduct customer follow-up calls to ensure that customers are informed of unfulfilled orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain cash float for Farm Shop.
- Accuracy of shop till accounting.
- Identify any discrepancies.
Ideal candidate:
- Be flexible with hours.
- Happy to assist within other parts of the business to cover absence.
- Happy to work in the mea/game industry.
- Experience with 'Phoenix' an advantage but full training will be given.
- Full clean driving licence required due to location.
This is a temporary role that would become permanent following a qualifying period for the right candidate. Working hours are generally 0800 - 1600 with some flexibility.
