Forklift Service Engineer

M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for engineers to repair and maintain Forklift trucks.

There are opportunities for both on site and mobile engineers who could be travelling within a 60-mile radius of RG7

Main Duties to include:

• Fault finding and general repairs on multiple makes and models of forklift trucks.
• Carry out thorough examinations on various makes and models of trucks.
• Service various makes and models of trucks.
• Fill out paperwork to support repair giving part numbers and description of what has been done accurately.
• Use mobile phone as a PDA to pick up jobs for the entire day and follow on throughout the rest of the week
• Liaise with office staff as to any major issues or difficulties whilst out on the road
• Telephone support always available through our office team should help be needed
• Collecting parts
• Responsible for the stock on the van and ordering parts as needed, maintaining a clean vehicle and driving appropriately.
• Six monthly van stock- take to ensure accuracy and restock common stock parts.
• Will need to attend any meetings with Service manager that are needed e.g., updates or training etc.

Essential skills

• Three years mechanic experience hands on.
• Fault find electrical and electronic issues.

These are permanent roles starting asap. Working hours generally 0730 – 1630 Monday to Friday.
