M4 Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our established client based in Melksham. The ideal candidate will have experience working as an upholsterer with an eye for detail and the ability to create upholstered furniture to a high standard. This role requires technical skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing factory setting.
Duties:
- Assemble furniture to the correct method set by our Design and Development team, to a high quality standard.
- Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times, abiding by the company's Health and Safety policies.
- Adhere to department housekeeping, ensuring all areas and work stations are kept tidy, safe and in full working order.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are kept tidy, safe and in full working order.
- Ensure correct handling of product, as not to cause damage to product or oneself.
- Meet project deadlines ensuring quality of final product.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an upholsterer is essential.
- Previous experience working in a factory setting.
- Ability to follow instructions using strong attention to detail.
This role is a full-time role working a day shift.
