We are recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Assistant to join our clients busy friendly team at their site in Watford. As a leading online and telesales distributor of fixings, fasteners, tools, and power tools, we are looking for someone who has worked in the same industry or similar and can work well within a team. This is a customer-facing role where excellent service and product knowledge go hand in hand.

Working Monday to Friday 07.30 - 17.30 with the occasional Saturday needing to be covered. Paying up to £30k, the salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve customers promptly and professionally at our trade counter
  • Process customer orders accurately
  • Upsell products where appropriate to maximise sales
  • Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and correctly
