HGV Class 1 Lowloader Driver – Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 driver with experience operating lowloader vehicles?
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to operate a lowloader, transporting various types of loads safely and efficiently.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with overtime available.
- Salary: up to £45,000
- Vehicle: HGV Class 1 with lowloader trailer
- Immediate Start
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle with a lowloader trailer.
- Transporting goods and equipment to various destinations, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
- Securing loads correctly and ensuring they are transported safely.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maneuvering and positioning the lowloader for loading and unloading in potentially tight spaces.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
- Proven experience operating lowloader vehicles.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Ability to secure loads safely and correctly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Forklift license or experience (desired)
