Are you a Class 2 HIAB driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Our client is looking for a Class 2 HIAB driver to join their home delivery team for their customers at Wickes Warrington.

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multidrop and direct delivery of our customers' products. This is a temp position for their peak period ending approx 26/09/2026. You will be starting at 7am, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturdays during the 10-week peak period which will be completed via a rota. You will be based at the home store but collecting and delivering out of surrounding areas and stores. Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS search.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • You will typically complete an average of 5-10 deliveries per day.
  • Delivering bulk items to customers' homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores.
  • Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
  • A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business.
  • Providing excellent face-to-face customer service to customers.

What you need to succeed:

  • A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement.
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be an advantage.
  • Have a positive, flexible attitude toward work and be a reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently.
  • HIAB licence ALLMI C5 Licence - conversions and refreshers provided GXO funded alongside a training agreement.
