Are you a proactive and people-focused HR professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced logistics environment? You will be the go-to HR presence on-site, working closely with operational teams while liaising with outsourced HR and legal providers.
- Act as the on-site HR lead, supporting managers and employees across the business
- Liaise with outsourced HR and legal partners to ensure compliance and best practice
- Manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations
- Support line managers with coaching and guidance on performance and people matters
- Prepare and validate payroll data for submission to outsourced payroll providers
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
- Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Proven experience in a generalist HR role (Advisor level or above) is required, along with a strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. You should be confident handling employee relations issues independently and comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment (logistics/warehouse experience desirable). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards) and a relevant degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field are preferred.
