Job Title: Freight Forwarder Location: Heathrow Department: Freight Forwarding Operations Job Type: Full-Time Role Purpose To provide end-to-end freight forwarding services (Air, Sea, Road), ensuring excellent customer service through timely clearances, quotations, shipments, invoicing, and related activities. Key Responsibilities Handle full-cycle freight operations (import/export). Ensure timely job costing, invoicing, customs entries, and milestone updates. Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve queries promptly. Work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Use CargoWise and MS Office tools. Support monthly compliance and reporting tasks. Maintain cost control and assist in rate reviews. Participate in customer reviews and development. Support QA processes and team collaboration. Follow SOPs, KPIs, and company policies. About You Essential: GCSE/O-Level education or equivalent. Proven customer service and freight forwarding experience. Strong understanding of international transport (Air, Sea, Road). Good knowledge of IT systems (e.g. CargoWise). Fluent in English; other languages a plus. Preferred: Business-related background or training. Financial awareness and cost-conscious mindset. Skills & Competencies: Results-driven and quality-focused. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Team player with flexibility (including shift/weekend work if needed). Able to follow SOPs and meet deadlines.
