M4 Recruitment is seekingexperienced HGV 1 Driversfor our client in Colnbrook. This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.
Shift & Duties:
- Hours:NIGHT SHIFT – START TIMES BETWEEN 1800 to 0000
- Weekly Hours:8 – 10 HOUR SHIFTS
- Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday – Saturday overtime available.
Competitive Pay Rates:
- Weekdays (08:00 – 19:00) £19.00
- Weeknights (19:00 – 08:00) £21.65
- Saturday Days (08:00 – 19:00) £20.18
- Saturday Nights (19:00 – 08:00) £22.89
- Overtime £28.50 after working 40 hours a week.
- Bank Holidays £38.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Trunking Operations:Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Vehicle Inspections:Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
- Safety & Compliance:Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
- Communication:Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
- Professionalism:Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on license
- Clean DBS check
- Level D / Cargo Operative training(can be completed online)
- 5-year employment history for background verification
