Are you a Class 2 HIAB driver looking for a change? Our client is looking for a Class 2 HIAB driver to join their home delivery team for their customers at Wickes Lincoln. This is a temp position for their peak period ending approx 26/09/2026, however, may be full-time for the right person.

You will be starting at 7am, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturdays during the 10-week peak period which will be completed via a rota. Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS search.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • You will typically complete an average of 5-10 deliveries per day.
  • Delivering bulk items to customers' homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores.
  • Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
  • A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business.
  • Providing excellent face-to-face customer service to customers.

What you need to succeed:

  • A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement.
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be an advantage.
  • Have a positive, flexible attitude toward work and be a reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently.
  • HIAB licence. ALLMI C5 Licence - conversions and refreshers provided.
  • GXO funded alongside a training agreement.
