Newly refurbished and expanding Distribution Centre. M4 Specialist are recruiting an HGV Driver to work at Savers Distribution Centre in Darlington. Ideally, we require 2+ years of experience with Class 1 Driving. As an ambassador of the Savers brand, you must always deliver a professional service. The Depot is expanding and the growth in the northern area continues, providing an ideal opportunity to join a nationally recognised household name.
Responsibilities of HGV driver:
- Stores deliveries required, ensuring adherence to a time schedule and meeting planned runs.
- Safe operations of a class 1 vehicle.
- Trunking work may also be available.
Hours for an HGV driver:
- Monday to Friday.
- Morning Shifts (6am starts but flexible).
- Shifts average 10 hours long.
- Temporary ongoing.
Pay rates for an HGV driver:
- £15.50 days.
- £22.00 overtime PAYE role only.
- Weekly pay.
Requirements for the role of HGV driver:
- Be aged 25 or over.
- Hold a valid UK Class One licence.
- Have valid CPC and Digi Card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence, only SP offences can be accepted.
- No previous disqualifications on your licence.
- You will be required to complete a driving assessment and induction before you start.
