Position: Towing Driver
Location:Huntingdon, PE29
Contract:Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday
Salary:£26,000 per annum (take home van Monday to Thursday)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Towing Driver to join our client. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of equipment to and from customer sites. Your commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent customer service will be essential in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery & Collection:Safely load, transport, deliver, and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites.
- Customer Handover:Conduct thorough handover processes with customers, ensuring equipment is operational and instructions are provided as needed.
- Inspection & Documentation:Inspect equipment for damages or shortages during collections. Record findings accurately using the company tablet, including taking photos and obtaining customer signatures whenever possible.
- Vehicle Maintenance:Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly. Ensure vehicles are serviced at the correct manufacturer intervals.
- Compliance:Adhere to all relevant legislation, including proper use and timely downloading of digital tachographs. Follow company health and safety policies and procedures during all operations.
- Team Collaboration:Work closely with depot staff and hire desk administrators to ensure smooth operations. Assist with additional tasks as requested by the Depot Manager
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years driving experience with a valid UK driving licence.
Proven towing experience.
A digital tachograph card.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate reporting and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact politely and professionally with
