M4 Recruitment are working with a newly opened company specialising in distributing building materials based in Gloucester who is looking for 3.5T drivers. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate averaging 50 hours a week (this can vary due to route lengths) Monday to Friday starting around 07:00.
Work will consist of a few drops per day delivering building materials and this will involve some manual handling of items up to 25 kgs. Occasionally, the driver will also be required to assist with warehouse duties as part of their job, but this will not be often. Work is ongoing Monday to Friday with a contract offered after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
Our ideal driver will:
- have a full UK driver's licence
- have no more than 6 points on their licence (depending on the code)
- have good experience of 3.5T driving - ideally at least 1 year with multidrop experience
- be happy with warehouse duties when required
- be physically fit due to manual work involved when delivering
- have a good knowledge of driving laws and regulations
- have basic knowledge of computer skills (tablet/computer use)
