The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Our client is looking for HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection and Recycling drivers for a temp to perm contract in Bristol. Work is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday and Sunday work offered for higher rates. Normal working hours are 0600 to 1400, and sometimes overtime is available on the day.
Work consists of:
- Refuse Collection with loaders (collecting commercial bins)
- Recycling (without loaders involving more handball)
Occasionally you might be asked to help out on the yard and the pay remains the same as drivers.
Ideal driver will have:
- Full CPC, UK Licence with Cat C and Tacho card
- 1 year of previous driving experience (although lower might be considered)
- Decent knowledge of driving laws and regulations
Pay: £18 basic, £25.50 OT
Currently, the client has 2 depots - 1 in Warmley and another in Yate area - they are looking for drivers in both depots currently.
Following a successful assessment, an induction will be arranged the next day and after that, the worker will be able to start regular shifts. Assessment consists of theory and driving test and normally takes a couple of hours.
