Our client based in Bristol is looking for 7.5t Drivers for ongoing work delivering furniture and items to houses. Work is with a driver's mate to help out with manual handling and will include delivering items to room of choice as well as assembly work.
Candidates are required to hold a valid DBS check. Overtime pay applies over a certain amount of hours per week.
Rota will be as follows:
- Week 1 - Monday - Thursday
- Week 2 - Wednesday - Saturday
- Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday + Friday and Saturday
On average, days would be around 12 hours (45 minutes unpaid break). Work will be quite physical so need to be reasonably fit to be able to do this. Start times are between 0430 and 0630 am.
Our ideal driver:
- Will have at least 2 years driving experience/holding C1 category
- Needs to have a valid Tacho card and CPC
- Will have no more than 6 points
- Will have good knowledge of driving laws and regulations
- Will have a valid DBS check (or pending application)
