M4 Digital Group, an IT Delivery Practice, is a forward-thinking and fast-growing SME with an established UK client base. We require the services of a Tier 1 Licensing, Compliance & Audit Defence Specialist to provide expert guidance across complex enterprise licensing, contractual compliance, and vendor audit defence.

You will act as a senior authority on Tier 1 vendor licensing, supporting the client through high-stakes audit scenarios, contractual interpretation, settlement planning, and remediation. You will lead evidence-based compliance assessments, translate audit findings into actionable commercial strategies, and help clients navigate licensing risk across major vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware/Broadcom, Adobe, and Red Hat. Operating as a trusted specialist, you will ensure organisations maintain control, clarity, and confidence in their licensing posture.

Primary Accountability:

  • Complex vendor licensing analysis
  • Contractual compliance assurance
  • Audit defence strategy and leadership
  • Remediation planning and commercial negotiation support

Skillset Required:

  • Deep Tier 1 vendor licensing expertise
  • Strong audit defence experience
  • Ability to interpret licence agreements, support terms, cloud subscriptions, and audit clauses
  • Evidence-based compliance assessment capability
  • Experience supporting settlement positions, true ups, renewals, and remediation
  • Strong background with Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware/Broadcom, Adobe, and Red Hat
  • Ability to convert audit findings into practical compliance and commercial actions

Useful Certifications:

  • IAITAM CSAM or equivalent
  • Microsoft licensing/SAM accreditation
  • Oracle licensing and audit defence experience
  • Vendor specific licensing training for IBM, SAP, VMware/Broadcom, or Adobe

Location: Hybrid mostly working from home with client site visits
