Job Description
The Associate Director of Global Patient Recruitment is accountable for supervising the Patient Recruitment team, optimizing internal resources across projects to improve gross profit and reduce reliance on third-party providers. This role delivers high-quality, patient-focused recruitment solutions for global qualitative and quantitative market research initiatives, collaborating with Sales, Client Services, and Panel to design scalable, compliant recruitment strategies that maximize internal capabilities and minimize outsourcing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead patient recruitment strategy with clear processes and guidelines to reduce outsource costs and grow M3 Global Research patient panels.
- Strategize panel recruitment across US and EU markets to increase panel size and profitability.
- Assist in introducing new custom recruitment options and improve gross profit on a project level.
- Join internal kickoff calls and project meetings to discuss fieldwork strategy, develop execution plans, and monitor adherence to the project plan.
- Monitor improvements to patient recruitment initiatives and share audit reports to enable accountability and further process enhancement.
- Manage, mentor, appraise and develop allocated staff, ensuring KPIs are met.
- Support digital recruitment strategy by leveraging affiliate partners, referrals, social media, patient associations, group recruitment, and display advertising to increase project completes and grow patient panels.
- Assess technology requirements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency in recruitment strategies.
- Lead or participate in taskforces or working groups aligned with business objectives (gross profit, cost reduction, etc.).
- Partner with other M3 companies to strategize synergies that could enhance project feasibility.
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate staff adherence to recruitment processes and quality, deliver reports, and propose actionable plans to improve profitability and satisfaction of clients and panelists.
- Support recruitment and engagement of patient support groups and associations, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Support design, execution, and continuous improvement of global patient panel growth strategies across markets.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in market research
- Minimum of 3 years in Quantitative or Qualitative Market Research Project Management or Fieldwork, preferably on Patient and/or Consumer projects
- Minimum of 2 years managing a staff of 3+ employees
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Extensive experience in active Quantitative or Qualitative Project or Panel Management in a patient/healthcare market research field
- Comprehensive knowledge of patient recruitment and securing hard-to-reach targets
- Understanding of domestic and international market research projects
- Ability to lead a team with mixed experience levels
- Self-motivated with the ability to re-prioritize tasks
- Excellent time management, organization, attention to detail and multitasking
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team to meet objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) and quick to learn new technologies
- Commitment to maintaining quality and adhering to M3’s ISO quality management system
