The primary responsibilities are the planning, organizing and directing day-to-day operations of the Quantitative research department whilst providing support in the implementation of strategic plans to complete the department’s daily projects requirements; ensuring that any direct report staff’s project management responsibilities are performed to a standard that delivers efficient service to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, mentoring, training and developing direct report staff whilst working to ensure a strong succession plan is in place and implementing best working practices in the areas of induction, training, and quality control.
  • Managing performance of All Global Quantitative Field Staff by maintaining a genuine management focus and ensuring that all members of the department are clear regarding company procedures, responsibilities and accountability.
  • Leading and maintaining an engaged, profitable client focused quality driven field team.
  • Planning, developing and implementing strategy for the field department’s processes and offerings in line with unit’s development plans.
  • Establishing and managing best working practices to ensure optimal efficiency and quality in deliverables/data and all other associated services to clients.
  • Controlling schedule and project allocation to Quantitative field staff and/or client dedicated teams as appropriate.
  • Recruiting, assessing, mentoring, training and developing direct report staff.
  • Establishing effective staff training and induction procedures which incorporates a formal training schedule with checkpoints for review.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 20252/26362 standards and other regulatory and client requirements.
  • Proactively responding to all issues whether performance or project related.
  • Ensuring strong client satisfaction from the Quantitative field team via regular, expert and professional communications.
  • Managing staff costs by ensuring adherence to company policy regarding time sheets, office hours, holidays and absence.

Qualifications Competencies:

  • Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Organizing and Planning – Can effectively manage direct reports and orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal.
  • Priority Setting – Spends own time and time of others on what is important and quickly zeros in on the critical few.

Characteristics: Strong communications and time management skills, solid organization skills, ability to multitask, creative and collaborative style and positive attitude and personality.

Education and Training Required: BA/BS degree in Market Research, Psychology or Sociology, Economics, Business Administration or related field. Demonstrated proficiency with Decipher, ConfirmIT, Microsoft Office, advanced proficiency in Excel and Word; Access is a plus.

Minimum Experience; Knowledge Skill, Ability: 5-6 years’ experience in Healthcare data collection. Experience in Marketing Research essential. Proven ability to manage direct reports, projects and meet aggressive deadlines with a high level of detail.
