The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities for M3 and Housing Software. This includes identifying prospects, conducting outreach, qualifying leads, delivering demonstrations, and closing sales. They work closely with the Account Managers and Consultants to ensure new clients are effectively handed over for onboarding and long-term relationship management. This is a proactive sales role focused on new opportunity generation and outbound activity, rather than ongoing account management. The role involves travel for conferences, sales meetings, and quarterly meetings at our London office. This could include overnight stays. There is no commission or OTE element in this role. However, performance-based bonuses may be awarded.
Sales Executive Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Proactively identify potential clients through various channels, including market research, outbound campaigns, and sector events. This includes developing and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities using CRM.
- Qualifying Opportunities: Assess and qualify opportunities to ensure resources are used effectively and to maximise sales opportunities in target markets.
- Opportunity Management: Proactively pursue and finalise assigned opportunities, ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to closure.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Account Managers and Marketing Team to ensure smooth communication, accurate handovers, and consistent messaging.
- Onboarding: Pass new clients to the Service Coordinator for onboarding and setup of long term relationship management.
- Reporting: Implement and monitor sales strategies, reporting regularly on progress and performance against set KPIs.
- Professional Development: Keep up to date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to strengthen sales effectiveness and confidence.
