The Associate Director of Global Patient Recruitment is accountable for supervising the Patient Recruitment team, optimising internal resources across projects to improve gross profit and reduce reliance on third-party providers.

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused recruitment solutions for global qualitative and quantitative market research initiatives. The Associate Director works collaboratively with Sales, Client Services, and Panel to design and implement scalable, compliant, and efficient custom recruitment strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead patient recruitment strategy, ensuring clear processes and guidelines are followed.
  • Strategise panel recruitment across US and EU markets to increase overall patient panel size.
  • Assist team in introducing new custom recruitment options.
  • Join internal kick-off calls and project meetings to discuss fieldwork strategy.
  • Monitor results of improvements to patient recruitment initiatives.
  • Manage, mentor, appraise, and develop allocated staff.
  • Support the digital recruitment strategy through various channels.
  • Assess technology requirements and implement solutions.
  • Lead or participate in taskforces promoting business objectives.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate adherence to patient recruitment processes.
  • Support recruitment and engagement of patient support groups.
  • Support the design and execution of global patient panel growth strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in market research.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Quantitative or Qualitative Market Research Project Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing a staff of 3+ employees.
  • Extensive experience in an active Project or Panel Management role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of patient recruitment.
  • Ability to lead a team of both junior and senior members.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
