About The Role

We are hiring on behalf of a growing fashion brand seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join their team remotely.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of fashion trends, garment construction, and product development, with the ability to create innovative, market-ready designs while collaborating effectively in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitor collections.
  • Design seasonal collections aligned with the brand's vision and target audience.
  • Create mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, and detailed tech packs.
  • Select appropriate fabrics, trims, colours, prints, and embellishments.
  • Work closely with the sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
  • Review samples, provide fit and design feedback, and coordinate revisions.
  • Maintain design documentation and ensure timely delivery of collections.
  • Participate in virtual design reviews and cross-functional team meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer with a fashion or apparel brand.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing apparel design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, pattern development, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing women's wear, men's wear, ethnic wear, western wear, or kidswear.
  • Familiarity with PLM software or digital product development tools is an advantage.
  • Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing fashion trends and business needs.
