m2r Education is working with a training and development company that provides a range of public services, including employment support, skills training, independent living, and prison education. They are recognized as one of the Top 25 Education and Training providers to work for.

Based at HMP Littlehey, you will work collaboratively with the Education team, providing support to learners with neurodiverse and inclusion needs. You will manage a caseload of disengaged learners, conduct initial screening, and develop Individual Learning Support plans. You will promote an effective and inclusive learning environment, supporting learners both in classroom or workshop settings and on a one-to-one basis.

Requirements

  • Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
  • Level 3 qualification for Inclusion Support Coordinators or willingness to work towards
  • Substantial experience and expertise in the field
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and SEND Code of Practice
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage own workload
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures related to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, and Data Protection
