An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated salesperson to join one of the largest and most respected corporate advisory firms in the UK in a business development role.

We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of the firm’s service offering. Based from their flagship office in Manchester City Centre, this role will be pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing the firm’s market presence across key sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across restructuring, advisory, and corporate finance services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with the firm’s objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to aid strategy
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and proposals
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate pipeline and client information
  • Represent the firm at networking events, conferences, and industry forums
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within professional services, finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the restructuring, insolvency, or advisory landscape is desirable
