Job Description About the job This role supports the growth of The Company's portfolio by working alongside the wider team to assess, progress and convert new business opportunities.
The role exists to provide analytical and commercial support across origination, credit underwriting and onboarding, ensuring opportunities are evaluated accurately, progressed efficiently and delivered in line with The Company's ABL's objectives.
Description of role and key responsibilities The ABL Analyst supports the presentation of potential Asset Based Lending clients and assists the Regional Sales Directors in the sales, credit/underwriting and onboarding process of ABL clients.
Assist the business with engagement and pitching with professional introducers including Debt Advisors, Lawyers, other Lenders and Private Equity firms.
Identify and engage with potential clients; contact and engage with potential clients via email and/or phone β follow up new business opportunities and arrange meetings.
Add information to CRM system and track.
Assist in the planning of pitches and work with RSD's to develop, create and be accountable for all client pitches and proposals.
With RSD's prepare credit submissions for presentation to credit committee following company procedures through the whole process.
Ensure an efficient, high quality and error free processing of proposals/applications in line with client needs.
Achieve productivity and sales budget KPI's set out by The Company.
Develop an understanding of client requirements to offer a client focused first class service.
Assist in the planning of new marketing initiatives and attend conferences, meetings, and industry events with colleagues.
Support the maintenance and management of the pipeline and ensure administration is completed on the company's internal systems to aid the fair treatment of customers.
Ensure comprehensive, up-to-date prospect/client account records are maintained on the appropriate CRM database.
Understand your client's requirements and price transactions accordingly.
Perform your role with a positive and constructive attitude within the team environment, adhering to The Company's values.
Ensure all compliance regulation and legislation is adhered to where relevant.
Interact professionally within all Company teams. Any other request deemed reasonable from your line manager.
Core skills and knowledge Financial analysis/modelling skills are an important requirement of this role with an ability to read, analyse and understand financial statements and present these in a coherent manner in consideration of new credit requests.
Some experience within ABL/Invoice Finance or Financial Services is preferred; however, consideration will be given to those with alternative sector experience particularly those coming from a background in Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory and/or Transaction Services.
ACA/ACCA Qualification preferred.

Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with ability to influence.
