Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in need, particularly those residing in assisted living environments or nursing homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including those with dementia and other care needs.

Duties

· As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

· Assisting service users with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.

· Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of service users.

· Making tea or coffee and heating meals in the microwave.

· Supporting service users with mobility.

· Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that their living space is tidy and organised.

· Collaborating with care coordinators to implement care plans effectively and monitor service users\’ progress.

· Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical stimulation.

Experience

The successful candidate should possess:

· Previous experience in a patient-facing role or a similar setting is highly desirable.

· A background in nursing or relevant qualifications in health and social care would be advantageous.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.

· A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

· Drivers with experience.
