About you
You are a Sign Fitter, Vinyl Installer or Graphics Installer who enjoys getting out on site and delivering a quality finish. You take pride in your work, have a practical mindset and enjoy the variety that comes with installation. You might already have experience within the signage industry, or perhaps you have developed your skills in a similar installation role and are looking to move into signage. Either way, you are reliable, willing to learn and happy getting stuck in wherever needed.
This role offers a good balance between site work and the workshop, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety rather than doing the same thing every day.
Your experience
You have experience installing signage, vinyl graphics or similar products, or you come from another practical installation background with transferable skills. A CSCS card and PASMA certification would be beneficial, though if you don't already have them, training can be provided for the right person. You are confident using hand tools, have a good eye for detail and enjoy producing work to a consistently high standard. A full UK driving licence would be advantageous, and a company van can be provided if required.
What you will be doing with your experience in this role
Your time will be split between the workshop and site, giving you a varied role where no two weeks are quite the same. You will install a range of standard signage and vinyl graphics across commercial environments, ensuring every project is completed safely and to a high standard. The work is varied but generally straightforward, with more specialist or complex installations subcontracted where appropriate. When you are not out on site, you will support the production team in the workshop, helping prepare signage and graphics ready for installation and ensuring projects are completed on time. You will work closely with an experienced team who are happy to support your development and help you build your skills within the signage industry.
About the business
You would be joining a well established signage business with a strong reputation for quality, customer service and looking after its people. The team delivers a wide range of signage and graphics projects for local businesses, providing a varied workload without constant long distance travel or overly complex installations. They invest in training and development and are looking for someone who wants to build a long term career within the industry.
