This place is not a printers. Well, they are now but it's not what they were. They need you, as an experienced Print Production professional, to come and join them and build a high-performing print production team.

Events and Exhibitions is their bag. Stand designers & stand builders. Print was a by-product of the work they have done for such a long time. Now though, it is time to invest in print equipment themselves and it couldn't have been a better move. They are now at a point where they need someone with knowledge, experience but loads of ambition to join the team and take it up a notch.

Currently just doing days, you'll be responsible for looking at how to ensure the workflow, the quality and speed is as good as it can be. There's further investment coming which will eventually lead to 2 shifts being operated. With your experience, you'll be instrumental in guiding them through this process.

You love to be hands-on, leading by example. Rolling up the sleeves and being on the production floor. There’s no ivory tower here, you set the new standards and expectations by showing, not shouting.

You’ll be one of a very small number of people in the country that operate a very unique state-of-the-art printer. It’s the only one in the country and would be very much a highlight for any experienced print production professional to operate. It’s 3.2m so a big old piece of kit but one at the very pinnacle of the printing industry.

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll be leading by example to a small production team. Historically, this business has hired people without experience of the printing industry, so you’ve got a team that are very ambitious and keen to learn from you and your wisdom!

Obviously site-based so you must be in a position to do the daily commute. It would be expected for you to be in a position to guide through a process of split shifts so keep this in mind when applying.
