You are a Production Manager who enjoys being at the heart of a busy print environment. You understand how to keep production moving, people motivated and quality consistently high. You are just as comfortable on the shop floor as you are planning workloads, solving problems and making sure every job is delivered on time. You enjoy leading by example. You support your team, communicate well with different departments and take pride in running an organised, efficient production operation. You have experience managing production within large format print, print finishing or a similar print manufacturing environment. You understand production planning, quality control, resource management and how to balance multiple jobs while maintaining high standards. You are confident leading production teams, managing temporary staff when required and ensuring health and safety remains a priority. You have a good understanding of print production processes, materials and equipment, along with the ability to work closely with account managers, suppliers and the wider business to keep projects moving smoothly.
You will oversee the day to day running of production, ensuring work is planned effectively, resources are allocated correctly and every project is delivered on schedule. You will lead and support the production team, coordinating workloads across both large and small format print while maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with account managers and suppliers, you will resolve production challenges, manage materials and outsourced services, and ensure communication remains strong from order through to delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment performance, improving workflows, reducing waste and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency as the business continues to grow.
