About you You're someone who enjoys the finishing side of large format print and takes pride in making sure the final job looks right.
You like being hands on in production, whether that's cutting, laminating, mounting, trimming, weeding vinyl or getting finished work packed and ready to go.
You're practical, detail focused and comfortable working in a busy environment where quality matters.
You probably prefer being on the production floor getting jobs finished properly rather than sitting behind a desk.
Your experience You'll ideally have experience within large format print, signage, graphics, exhibitions or display production.
The finishing experience is the most important part for this role.
You may have worked with Zünd, Kongsberg or similar digital cutting equipment, laminators, mounting equipment, vinyl cutters and a range of rigid and flexible substrates.
Experience working with materials such as Foamex, Dibond, Correx, acrylic and vinyl would be useful, as would experience across banners, exhibition graphics, POS, wall graphics or signage.
If you've also operated large format printers, that's a bonus, but you don't need to be an out-and-out print operator.
What you'll be doing You'll be working within a busy large format production department, taking printed work through the finishing stages and making sure everything leaves looking right.
You'll be involved in cutting, laminating, mounting, trimming, vinyl work and preparing finished jobs for installation or dispatch.
There is a strong range of modern finishing equipment on site, including a Zünd digital cutting system, vinyl cutting equipment, laminating machinery and fabric finishing equipment.
There are also Swiss Qprint, Canon Colorado and EFI large format printers within production, so there is scope to get involved with the print side if that's something you already know or want to develop.
About the business You'd be joining an established large format print and graphics business with a strong in-house production setup and a varied mix of work.
