Our client is an established cybersecurity company whose technology delivers advanced network detection and response capabilities to government and defence customers. Their platform provides the visibility, context, and analytics needed to detect, investigate, and respond to sophisticated threats across complex networks.
They’re hiring a Sales Director, Strategic Accounts to expand relationships and drive growth within the UK Government and Defence sector — a senior individual-contributor role focused on high-value, mission-driven accounts.
Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience selling cybersecurity, network monitoring, data analytics, or intelligence-enabling solutions into UK Government and Defence.
- Strong understanding of national security, mission operations, and secure network environments.
- Proven success engaging with MoD, UKIC, Home Office, or Cabinet Office stakeholders.
- Security clearance (SC or DV), or clear eligibility.
- Technically fluent, able to discuss architectures, sensors, data flows, and detection workflows, and to position technical value credibly with both operational and executive audiences.
- Independent, high-performing salesperson skilled at building and closing complex pipeline in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Confident in consultative, value-based selling and aligning solutions to customer mission outcomes.

- Build trusted relationships with senior, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities within active programmes and emerging mission areas.
