We are seeking an experienced Architectural Metalwork Installer team to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation of exceptional metal structures that redefine spaces and inspire awe.

Company Overview: At M-Tech Engineering Ltd, we specialize in crafting and installing bespoke architectural metalwork that ranges from intricate railings and staircases as well as various structural steel projects. Position: London Based Metalwork Site Fitting team - ideally 2 man team fitter and mate.

Location: London and Southern England Based work.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings, plans, and blueprints to execute precise metalwork installations.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install a wide range of architectural metalwork, including handrails, balustrades, canopies, and custom structural steel projects.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless coordination of installation schedules and timelines.
  • Conduct on-site measurements, assessments, and adjustments to ensure accurate fitting and alignment of metalwork elements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards throughout all installation processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that arise during installation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on site.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Architectural Metalwork Installer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Current CSCS card, IPAF, working at Height, SSSTS qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of various metalwork materials, fabrication techniques, and installation methods.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools relevant to metalwork installation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Relevant certifications or training in metal fabrication and installation is a plus.
