M-Tech Engineering – Specialists in Staircase & Balustrade Manufacturing are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Fabrication Quality Inspector to join our growing team. We specialise in the manufacture of high-quality staircases and balustrade systems for commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out dimensional inspections of fabrications prior to welding and after welding completion
- Inspect incoming materials for quality, specification, and quantity
- Ensure fabricated components meet drawing and customer requirements
- Record inspection results and report any non-conformances
- Work closely with fabrication and welding teams to maintain quality standards
- Support continuous improvement within the manufacturing process
- Previous experience in a fabrication or engineering inspection role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience within structural steel, staircases, or balustrade manufacturing would be advantageous
