You could be an experienced Production Supervisor or Team Leader looking for a new challenge. Alternatively, you may be a highly capable Senior Operator, Chargehand or experienced manufacturing professional who is ready to take that next step into their first management role. Either way, you’ll be joining a business where your leadership, organisation and practical manufacturing experience will have a direct impact.
The Role
You’ll lead from the front, helping to ensure the team delivers the right work, to the right quality, at the right time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting a small production team
- Organising daily workloads and prioritising production requirements
- Overseeing work across presswork, assembly and welding
- Ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to specification
- Monitoring quality, output and productivity
- Supporting team members with training, development and day-to-day guidance
- Working closely with planning, quality and other departments
- Helping resolve production issues and keep work flowing
- Driving good standards of housekeeping, health and safety and continuous improvement
About You
The key requirement is experience within a subcontract manufacturing environment. You’ll understand that priorities can change, customer requirements matter and the ability to keep production moving is critical.
