Interim Warehouse & Despatch Supervisor Location: Wolverhampton Rate: Approximately £27 per hour Contract: Initial 3-month assignment M-Tec Engineering Solutions is currently recruiting for an Interim Warehouse & Despatch Supervisor to join a growing and evolving manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton. This is an initial 3-month contract, offering an opportunity for an experienced warehouse and despatch professional to support day-to-day operations, maintain efficient material flow and ensure customer orders are dispatched on time. The Role * Oversee the day-to-day running of warehouse and despatch operations. * Supervise and coordinate warehouse personnel, ensuring workloads and priorities are managed effectively. * Coordinate incoming materials, stock movements, picking, packing and outgoing deliveries. * Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and dispatched to agreed deadlines. * Maintain stock accuracy and ensure appropriate inventory control procedures are followed. * Liaise with Production, Planning and other internal departments to ensure materials and finished goods flow efficiently. * Monitor performance, resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. * Ensure warehouse activities comply with health and safety requirements and company procedures. The Person * Previous experience in a Warehouse, Stores or Despatch Supervisory role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. * Experience supervising warehouse personnel and coordinating day-to-day workloads. * Good understanding of stock control, inventory management and despatch processes. * Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. * A hands-on approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Available to start at short notice and committed to an initial 3-month assignment.
