Responsibilities:
- Provide administration, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the QAD 2014SE ERP environment
- Work with business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable ERP solutions
- Support ERP modules including manufacturing, planning, inventory management, purchasing, sales order processing, logistics, and finance interfaces
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities
- Maintain and optimise Progress OpenEdge databases
- Perform routine database monitoring, backup management, and disaster recovery activities
- Support and maintain EDI transactions with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Troubleshoot EDI communication issues and data mapping errors
- Develop and support system integrations between QAD and external applications
- Administer Linux servers supporting QAD and associated applications
- Monitor system health, performance, security, and capacity
- Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives
- Produce technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and functional teams to improve system utilisation and business performance
- Participate in IT projects from requirements gathering through implementation and support
- Provide technical leadership on ERP-related initiatives
- Support testing, user training, and change management activities
- Coordinate with external consultants and software vendors where required
