A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Maintenance department with the appointment of a Maintenance Project Engineer. As Maintenance Project Engineer, you will be responsible for both managing and supporting maintenance department projects. The role will have both hands-on and contractor management responsibilities depending on the scale of the project. Project management, contractor control, and electrical and mechanical installation experience is essential. When required, supporting the maintenance facilities team may be requested.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire, the Maintenance Project Engineer will be responsible for:
- Promoting company HSE policies across the department and plant and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Engaging in projects that improve plant health and safety.
- Ensuring contractor RAMS and Permits are correct, updated, and adhered to.
- Leading and managing projects on time, in budget, and to specification.
- Utilising project management tools to clearly communicate and report out project progress and blockers.
- Leading and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver right-first-time projects.
- Leading and supporting projects to further improve plant KPIs (OEE).
- Delivering departmental capex projects.
