A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Maintenance department with the appointment of a Maintenance Planner. As Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal asset performance. You will work closely with maintenance teams, operations, and suppliers to ensure resources, parts, and labour are effectively allocated.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
- Plan and coordinate shutdowns and major maintenance activities
- Ensure availability of required parts, tools, and resources
- Create detailed job plans and work packs
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records within the CMMS system
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required
- Support reliability and asset improvement initiatives
