An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join a world class manufacturing organisation based in Staffordshire. The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the reliability and dependability of all plant machinery and equipment on site.

Further duties will include:

  • Perform data analysis across all machines to predict and control failures
  • Identify and manage asset reliability and risks working to reduce risks
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance reliability and reduce downtime
  • Implement Group Lean manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance strategies
  • Analytically reviewing data and TPM activities to look for further improvements
  • Planning, coordinating and carrying out TPM/PPM maintenance tasks across the factory; within mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic disciplines
  • Problem solving break downs and issues that occur on the manufacturing machinery
  • Developing procedures within TPM and the wider maintenance departments as well as out on the shop floor
  • Project managed process manufacturing equipment changes, liaising and working with people across different departments
  • Continuously improving production via small step improvements
  • Responsible for performing PLC (Siemens) modifications and basic programming
  • Responsible for performing Robot modifications and basic programming (ABB)
  • Provide advice on technical specifications for new equipment and modifications on existing equipment and facilities, ensuring manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met

Ideally, candidates will be degree or HND qualified but applications are welcomed from candidates who are qualified by experience. Previous experience of plant/reliability maintenance and or programming robots or PLCs would be advantageous.
