Overview

MTEC are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a manufacturer located in Staffordshire.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting customers with product quality related issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Understand production quality concerns and drive practical problems solving activities to resolve the issues.
  • Ensure the correct quality standards are in place to assure the production processes are adhered to.
  • Drive Quality basics in all production areas
  • Audit current production processes & new processes before SOP to detect non conformities
  • Support the project team with the development and creation of Process FMEAs, Control plans, Quality instructions, Checking fixture design etc).

Qualifications / Experience

  • The successful candidate will have proven experience of carrying out 8Ds/practical problem solving and dealing with external customers on a day to day basis.
  • Ideally, candidates will be apprentice or HNC qualified but candidates qualified by experience are encouraged to apply also.
