As a Purchasing Administrator you will be the lynchpin between customers and production. Day to day your job will involve:
- Providing quotations to Customers and chasing Purchase Orders
- Liaising with your in-house production and warehouse team to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Dealing with customer enquiries as needed (updating on order progress, requoting work if necessary etc)
- Maintaining in house databases
To be a successful Purchasing Administrator you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills β this is a βpeopleβ job
- A good level of computer and numeric literacy β Ms Excel in particular
- Experience working within a Manufacturing Supply Chain β ideally in a parts / stores / inventory, procurement type function
