A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Logistics department with the appointment of a Production Planner.
As Production Planner, you will be responsible for demand planning, forecasts and delivering for customers.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Warwickshire, the Production Planner will be responsible for:
- Own and lead the demand planning process, delivering accurate forecasts and optimised inventory to support production.
- Analyse trends, historical data, and customer demand to drive improved forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure forecasts align with business objectives.
- Incorporate trends, promotions, and new product launches into forecasting models.
- Develop, track and report on KPIs to measure forecast accuracy, inventory performance.
- Partner with supply chain and procurement to align demand forecasts with production capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes.
- Present insights, risks, and opportunities to senior management to support strategic decision making.
The successful candidate should have proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment and proficient in ERP systems.
