A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Production department with the appointment of a Production Manager. As Production Manager, you will lead, organise and motivate production personnel to ensure customer satisfaction in quality and delivery in a safe and clean working environment. Working from their manufacturing facility in Warwickshire, the Production Manager will be responsible for:
- Address all health and safety
- Plan and implement the most effective use of manpower and equipment
- Be responsible for training of all work instructions (where possible)
- Liaise with customers as required in order to maintain excellent service and relationships
- Ensure all production and quality processes and procedures are carried out as required
- Ensure training for all personnel is carried out as planned and records are kept up to date at all times
- Identify, lead and promote continuous improvement activities
- Prepare management reports
- Be responsible for achieving goals and KPIs
- Train, motivate and develop team leaders and production operators
- Maintain positive relationships with all other departments and personnel
- Ensure the required housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained at all times
- Manage timekeeping and attendance
- Manage disciplinary issues to final written warning level
