A phenomenal opportunity has arisen for a NPI Engineer to join a global automotive first tier supplier.

The NPI Engineer will be responsible for all manufacturing aspects of a new projects from award through to launch.
Further responsibilities will include:
*Define the optimum process to manufacture new products
*Setup of manufacturing equipment and processes for product launch in plant.
*To coordinate the installation and commissioning of all production equipment related to the product launch.
*Create plant layouts, capacity plans, processes flows, PFMEAs, and material flow charts.
*Estimate the cycle times and required manpower for each productive line.
*Coordinate prototype builds
*Managing the launch of production at the plant and support the production ramp up.
*Be the voice of the Plant and act as the interface between the Plant and Project team.
Ideally, candidates will be degree qualified and or apprentice trained and have experience within the automotive arena. Manufacturing Engineers will have previously worked in new product introduction where they have been involved with all manufacturing aspects of new projects being launched into plant.
