An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Project Manager to join an internationally established first tier automotive supplier. The Manufacturing Project Manager will take full responsibility for all advanced manufacturing engineering activities for new programs coming into the business.This involves the interaction from quote phase for new products and then supporting thesetup and layout of new facilities along with the selection &installation of equipment. Further to this you will be responsible for all launch activities at the plant including prototype builds, tool trails and process qualification to start of production . Key Responsibilities: *Coordinate Plant Engineering & Operational resource to deliver smooth production launch (commissioning / process layout/PFMEAs etc) *Product quotation, process and equipment design, equipment setup to support product launch timing within budget. *Managing tooling , equipment & facility budgets to ensure project meets expected budget *Industrialization of process and logistics means for all aspects of launch of manufacturing program *Building key working relationships with customer, internal & suppliers *Process Flow Dia…
