A leading automotive supplier is looking to strengthen their advanced manufacturing engineering team with the successful appointment of a Manufacturing Project Engineer. The Manufacturing Project Engineer will be responsible for taking design concepts from Prototype stage through to successful launch and in to full production having responsibility for associated equipment.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project budget including hours, CAPEX, Tooling etc.
  • Integration of industrial process into a clearly defined production plan.
  • Validate Design for Manufacturing in line with manufacturing
  • Manage manufacturing project review and provide action plans to sustain delivery
  • Define initial Statement of Work for production volumes, building in contingency plans for any possible short falls
  • Participate in continuous improvements and carryout workshops to deliver training

Candidates will have excellent communication skills together with proven ability in Project Management, Budget Management and Continuous Improvement.

Ideally candidates will be educated to degree level with demonstrable experience within an automotive 1st Tier arena, specifically injection moulding.
