An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Indirect Buyer to join a leading manufacture based in the Droitwich area.

As the Indirect Buyer, you will play a key role in managing indirect purchasing activities to support company goals around cost-efficiency, quality, and supplier performance.

The Indirect Buyer will be at the heart of supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing decisions.

Further responsibilities will include:

Process and challenge purchase requisitions to secure the best value.

Collaborate with internal teams to fulfil urgent or complex procurement needs.

Lead supplier benchmarking and negotiation for capital purchases.

Support KPI reporting and lead monthly MRO reviews.

Manage service contracts, rental and lease agreements.

Identify cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis and trend tracking.

Champion continuous improvement and support strategic purchasing objectives.

Ideally, candidates will be CIPS qualified or have worked in a purchasing function for three years or more ideally within a manufacturing environment. The successful Indirect Buyer will have proven negotiation skills and will be confident dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
