We are currently recruiting an Injection Moulding Process Engineer for a global manufacturing organisation. It is essential that candidates have proven experience within the injection moulding arena having a strong knowledge of moulding processes/techniques. The Process Engineer (Injection Moulding) will be responsible for defining process controls, minimising scrap and optimising material consumption. Further responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for process efficiency to include process parameters, availability, efficiency and quality of machines, installations and auxiliary equipment.
- Collaborate in the follow up, planning and control of maintenance of machines, installations and auxiliary equipment.
- Work with suppliers of installations, machines and raw material, for both improvements and corrective or preventative actions.
- Train the production team in new processes, new standards, new technologies, preventative maintenance.
- Liaising with New Product Development Teams on all new projects, incorporating tool design sign off process.
- Support the optimisation process and get involved with Tool Trials for all new Tooling.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures, and coach & mentor moulding technicians.
- Drive OEE improvements throughout the Injection Moulding Area.
