Job Description A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a CNC Engineer.

As CNC Engineer, you will have a proven track record and experience in machining aluminium diecast components on high speed 5 axis machines.
Working from their manufacturing facility, the CNC Engineer will be responsible for: Support production on a daily basis.
Competent in running CNCs and all aspects of the machine performance, fault finding and diagnostics.
Maintain hydraulic fixture operation, clamping repeatability and machining position to casting.
Change tools, track tool life, investigate tool breakages.
Monitor part quality, adjust offsets and improve process capability.
Develop and maintain process documentation as well as assist in the generation of SWIs.
Set procedures and standards Drive TPM and 5S Train, mentor and guide others on how to operate equipment safely and correctly Other related duties as determined by the Process Engineering Manager or Process Engineers.
The successful candidate should be apprentice served or have a formal college certification and proven CNC machine programmning and setting in production environment.
