The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting for a Mould Technician for an internationally established plastics manufacturer. The Injection Mould Technician will be required to work a three shift pattern (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am). You will work closely with production and tooling teams to improve processes, support new tool setups, reduce changeover times, and ensure everything is done right first time. You will also lead the tool change team, promote safe working, and help drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Optimising moulding processes for quality and cycle time
  • Leading and supporting the tool change team
  • Setting up new tools and supporting start-ups
  • Improving tool change times through SMED activities
  • Spotting issues and suggesting better ways of working
  • Carrying out basic audits and supporting safe, tidy working practices
